DATA PROTECTION

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the retrieval.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the site and improving our offer. This serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after your visit to the site ends.

**Hosting Services by a Third-Party Provider**

As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider renders the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer. All data collected as part of the use of this website or in designated forms in the online shop, as described below, is processed on their servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing, Contact

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we require these data for contract processing or to handle your contact request, and you cannot complete the order or send the contact request without providing them. Which data are collected is evident from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract processing and handling your inquiries. If you have given your consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR by deciding to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening the customer account. After the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use the data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement. Deleting your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a designated function in the customer account.

**3. Data Transfer**

For the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers collect this data themselves, if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in with your access data at the payment service provider during the ordering process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.

The same applies to the transfer of data to our manufacturers or wholesalers in cases where they take over the shipment for us (drop shipment).

**Data Transfer to Shipping Service Providers**

If you have given us your explicit consent during or after your order, we will pass on your email address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.

The consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address listed below. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use the data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

5. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

To display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and the collected reviews, and to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website.

This serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in optimal marketing by enabling secure purchasing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer from Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Köln. The Trustbadge is provided as part of processing on our behalf by a CDN provider (Content Delivery Network). Trusted Shops GmbH also uses service providers from the USA. An appropriate level of data protection is ensured. Further information on the data protection of Trusted Shops GmbH can be found here.

When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the call-up, the transferred data volume, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the call-up. Individual access data is stored for the analysis of security anomalies in a security database. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after their creation.

Further personal data is transmitted to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or if you have already registered for their use. It applies to the contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you, as a buyer, are already registered for product use is automatically checked using a neutral parameter, the hashed email address. The email address is converted into this hash value, which cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops, before transmission. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.

This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' overriding legitimate interests in providing the buyer protection linked to the specific order and transactional rating services in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Further details, including the right to object, can be found in the Trusted Shops privacy policy linked above and in the Trustbadge.
